After a nice coffee and croissants breakfast and morning beach, we made plans to meet at Teddy's Lookout for lunch. Anton and Ric would walk up the hill and I would drive (not fit yet to attempt a 40 degree tilt climb!). So I packed the lunch and I drove up, saw a lost kangaroo on the way and had to slow the drive to 20kph just in case it decided to turn around and head my way, but it hoped forwards and disappear behind some trees into the distance.I got there first and took these photos. This place is simply magnificent. From this height one can see very clearly the ocean floor and the subtleties of nature. I love how you can see the Great Ocean Road embracing the hills like trying to contain them from falling into the sea.
Despues de un riquisimo desayuno de cafe con leche con medialunas y de ir a la playa toda la manana, hicimos planes de encontrarnos para el almuerzo en Teddy's Lookout. Anton y Ricky caminarian hasta arriba de la colina y yo manejaria (todavia no estoy para intentar escalar una subida de 40 grados constante). Asique yo empaque el almuerzo y maneje hasta arriba. En el camino vi un canguro perdido y tuve que bajar la velocidad a 25 kph en caso de que decidiera pegar la vuelta y venir para mi lado, pero salto para adelante y desaparacio detras de unos arboles en la distancia.
Yo llegue primero y saque estas fotos. Este lugar es simplemente magnifico. Desde esta alturo uno puede ver el piso del oceano y las sutilezas de la naturaleza. Me encanta como se ve la Gran Ruta Oceanica abrazando las colinas como tratando de conterlas antes de que caigan en el mar.
