Mothers Day

Today was Mothers Day. My son made me a beautiful and delicious breakfast accompanied with a lovely table setting. I had a really nice present: fragrance candles, pedestal and bracelet and earrings. I spent a lot of time with my beautiful son and husband and despite the horrible weather, we had a lovely day, even managed to see a market and do a bit of window shopping without getting wet. Thank you son! I love you more than anything.

Last Concert for Anton with the Robertson Youth Orchestra

Last night we went to see Anton give his last performance with the Robertson Youth Orchestra. He decided that it was time to start a new search. The concert was very enjoyable and whilst we said goodbye to an era we know that something new will emerge musically for him, something more challenging and full of rich encounters with music. We have certainly enjoyed the performances the RYO gave throughout the years Anton was with them.

This is my happy face last night. We had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant in Fitzroy (Mandalay Bay). It was delicious, expect for the entree, a mixture of rice rolls with way too much coriander (not my favourite spice). After dinner we walked along Brunswick Street and stopped at Chocolateria San Churro for an after dinner coffee. Ric couldn't help himself and order churros too. We've had churros here many times (nothing special if you ask me) but to my surprise instead of the typical chocolate sauce that usually accompanies such treat it came  with dulce de leche (an Argentinian style caramel to die for and that I have been searching for the last 22 years in Australia) and to my delight it was quite good! Thank you San Churro, I will be visiting more often.
