My Birthday in June

This year my birthday was in the middle of the week, on a parent-teacher interview day as well. So as you can imagine I couldn't really do much but endure the day. However, my class was amazing and my kids filled the board with messages and drawings that made me feel very loved and put me in a birthday mood.
At night, at home my hubby made me home-made pizza and I opened gorgeous presents: a vintage silver and stone bracelet, new runners and a nice, warm jacket. Thanks again family for a beautiful day!

Este ano my cumpleanos fue en medio de la semana, en un dia de conferencias con padres. Asique como se pueden imaginar no pude realmente hacer mucho. Sin embargo, mis alumnos se portaron re bien y me llenaron el pizarron con mensajes y dibujos que me hicieron sentir muy querida y me pusieron en una onda cumplanera.
A la noche , en casa, mi marido me hizo pizza casera y abri hermosos regalitos: una pulcera de plata y piedras antigua, zapatillas nuevas para el gym y una campera super abrigadita. Gracias familia por un cumpleanos hermoso!

Mothers Day 2013

Like always my son surprises me on Mothers Day with a yummy breakfast and a fun filled day. This year we had a walk along Fitzroy Gardens to soak in the last autumn breezes and colours and concluded with lunch in the city and a movie at night. Thanks family for another great Mothers Day!

Como siempre mi hijo me sorprende el Dia de la Madre con un desayuno delicioso y un dia lleno de sorpresas y diversion. Este ano me llevaron a pasear por los jardines de Fitzroy para absorver las utlimas brisas y colores otonales y concluyo con almuerzo en la city y cine por la noche. Gracias familia por otro hermoso Dia de la Madre!

Autumn Came and Went

My favourite season, autumn, came and went, but not without me registering some of its beauty with my camera. This year we had a colourful and prolonged autumn, or so it seemed to me. I enjoyed the leaves carpeted roads, warm sunlight and colourful canopies.

My estacion favorita, Otono, vino y se fue, pero no sin que registrara su belleza con mi camara. Este ano tuvimos un prolongado otono, o al menos asi me parecio a mi. Disfrute mucho de las calles alfombradas con hojas secas, mananas soleadas y coloridas copas de arboles.

Back Home

These are some of the things I did when I got home. I really missed my family Ric, Anton and the cats. We had a few days before starting work again to catch up and enjoy a little time together. A trip to Lorne was first in the list.

Estas son algunas de las cosas que hice cuando llegue de Argentina. Realmente extrane mucho a mi marido y mi hijo y tambien a los gatos. Por suerte tuvimos un par de dias libres antes de empezar a trabajar para ponernos al dia. Un viajecito a Lorne fue primero en la lista.

Of course the traditional Fitzroy visit could not be avoided and savouring Grill'd chips was one of the highlights.

Por supuesto una visita a Fitzroy no pudo ser evitada y saborear las papas fritas de Grill'd fue uno de los momentos que resaltaron.

And soon after was back to the diet and exercise to burn some of the calories ingested in Buenos Aires by eating so much the unavoidable delicious feasts that my family honoured me with.

Y pronto a empezar con la dieta y el ejercicio para quermar algunas de las tantas calorias ingeridad en Buenos Aires por comer tanto en los inevitables y deliciosos banquetes con los que mi familia me agasajo.
